Bicycle Rush Hour

I love this video, it reminds me of our visit to Amsterdam. It was amazing in the morning to see everyone commuting to school, work, daycare on their bicycles. J and I rented bikes one afternoon and tried it out. It was so much fun and a superb way to get around the city. It helps that bike lanes are everywhere and traffic is aware and sharing the road with cyclist.

One challenge of biking in Amsterdam is bicycle parking!  It's surprisingly hard to find. I can remember on the afternoon we spent at the train station there was a crew cutting the locks on loads of illegally parked bikes. There were so many.
